Which Dry-Treat sealer should I choose?
Dry-Treat has a number of high-quality sealers to choose from, but which one is the best choice for you depends on the material you’re sealing and what your overall goals are. After all, every job requires the proper tools, and the same holds true for sealing stone and other porous materials.
Sealing different surfaces
STAIN-PROOF™ Original is an impregnating, invisible and breatheable sealer that can protect natural stone, tiles, pavers, concrete and grout.
While this is a great option for a number of sealing needs, a denser material, such as granite countertops, may require a sealer with a little more oomph. In these cases, STAIN-PROOF Plus™ is your best bet.
On the other end of the spectrum is DRY-TREAT 40SK™. This product is designed for softer, more porous materials.
However, just like with both STAIN-PROOF™ varieties, DRY-TREAT 40SK™ offers an impregnating, invisible and breatheable barrier that can help prevent stains and structural damage associated with water, although it is not formulated to repel oil.
Beyond surface protection
Chances are protecting your material and making surface cleaning easier are your ultimate goals when it comes to sealing, but there are products that can help you accomplish more than just protection.
For instance, INTENSIFIA™ is engineered to not only help with oil and water-based stain protection, but also provide deep, long-lasting color enhancement. This product can be used on everything from natural stone and brick to masonry and terracotta.
Finding the right fit
Whether it’s sealing, cleaning or color enhancement you’re after, Dry-Treat has a number of products specially designed to suit your specific needs.
The important thing to keep in mind is how the material you have and your overall objectives influence which product makes the most sense.
